Investigating now

Comment updated on: 22/02/2007 @ 12:06

After an hours investigation I have only been able to replicate it intermittently, and not able to replicate it for the past half hour. I noticed that one of the services on one of the caching DNS servers was being slow to respond so I restarted the service, which has improved response times.

Following a number of similar incidents over the past few weeks we will be looking at the stability of the DNS platform as a whole very soon.

I am now downgrading this problem for signoff.
