One of our redundant links between Sheffield and London is down. This may impact access of Sheffield based services at peak times. If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

This problem is being upgraded from a P2 as traffic between Sheffield and London is currently being impact due to peak load on our second link.

Our transit suppliers have informed us that they have suffered a fibre break in Sheffield. A case is open with them and engineers are currently on site performing maintenance work to re-splice the fibre. No ETA has been made available to us as yet.

Expected ETA for a fix is 8pm tonight.
