Problem: [42007] No Connectivity to some Internet House Services Status: Closed
Problem description Added on: 16/04/2007 @ 12:30

It would appear that we are experiencing connectivity issues to some services hosted at our Internet House Datacentre. These include Usertools / Usergroup Servers, some Portal and E-Mail Collection Servers and various other Internal Services including Internal E-Mail, Google Minibox and our QA Testing Servers. There should be minimal customer affect as most services operate from multiple sites.

We have lost connectivity to a single rack at our Internet House datacentre. Initial investigations suspect a failure with Power. Services at our alternate locations in Sheffield and London are continuing to function. Network engineers are now on-site.

We have identified that customers may not be able to access their VMBU (View My Broadband Usage) data currently due to a connectivity issue with the database servers.

Comment updated on: 16/04/2007 @ 15:51

We have identified that the outage was caused by an issue with one of our power phases. Service has since been restored and most services are now available again.

This problem should no longer cause any service issues for our customers.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this service issue may have caused.
