Appears to be an issue taking outstanding payments. Card details updated and correct but workplace returning error of 'failed to take payment'.

Outstanding payment showing on the account but transaction cannot be completed.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

We are experiencing a problem where some outstanding payments cannot be taken. This problem is occuring even after card details have been updated and are known to be correct.

In certain situations the billing system is not creating an invoice to bill against which may explain some of the issues with taking payment on accounts which have failed billing.

Downgraded as not affecting all customers. There is a manual solution to this as well.
