Problem passed to network engineer for further analysis.

Issue is directly related to a routine change made to the config of the traffic management switches (Ellacoyas) this morning at around 8.00am.

Comment updated on: 30/04/2009 @ 12:30

CPU on the switches is returning to normal levels. Further changes of this nature to be scheduled outside of core hours and will be followed by a reload of the switches.

Comment updated on: 30/04/2009 @ 12:32

Change control raised to reload the Ellacoya switches. This needs to be staggered starting with the resiliant devices.

Comment updated on: 30/04/2009 @ 15:22

All Ellacoya switches have been reloaded, we are currently monitoring to see whether this was resoolved the browsing problems that customers have been experiencing.

Comment updated on: 30/04/2009 @ 17:51

We have not seen any further problems this afternoon since the work to reload the Ellacoya switches. We will downgrade this problem overnight and monitor for any further problems reported this evening.
