Billing Guide

Summary:
Information on accounts and billing related issues, such as billing inquiries or updating payment details.

Payment Information

All your invoices are available in the Invoices section of My Account. With Metronet's PAYGo broadband products you pay in arrears. This means we invoice you for your total usage (uploads and downloads) at the end of the billing month. You can view your usage for the month through the Services Summary section of My Account.

Please make your payment within 14 days to ensure your service isn't suspended. If you are unable to make a payment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

Direct Debit Payments

Paying by Direct Debit is a simple and convenient way to pay for your broadband. It's easy to set up and there's no need to confirm regular payments or update your details.

Set up your Direct Debit today by visiting the Payment Details section of My Account.

Debit/Credit Card Payments

We recommend storing credit or debit card details to make automatic payments for your Metronet service. No more hassle or missed payments!

You can update your card details through the Payment Details section of My Account. Please ensure your card details are kept up to date at all times.

For your added security we use the Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode online security system. Once you've registered, this ensures your card transactions on our website (and 300,000 others across Europe) are password protected, stopping unauthorised use online.

To find out more read our Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode FAQ.

Cheque Payments

An invoice will be raised and marked as paid when we have received and cashed your cheque. Pro forma invoices are available upon request.

Remember to write your service username on the back of the cheque so we can identify which product you are paying for, e.g. asmithadsl.

Note: Service username is not the same as your account username - a service username is specific to each service/product on your account. An account username is used to login to the website.

Your service usernames can be found through the Services Summary page of the Metronet Member Centre. Click 'View Details' next to a product and its service username is at the bottom of the new page.

Note: for mailbox payments, write your account username on the back of the cheque instead.

BACS Payments

Make your BACS payments with these details:

Bank: Barclays Bank
Account number: 40064335
Sort code: 20-00-00
Reference: Service username e.g. asmithadsl

Service username is not the same as your account username - a service username is specific to each service/product on your account. An account username is used to login to the website.

Your service usernames can be found through the Services Summary page of the Metronet Member Centre. Click 'View Details' next to a product and its service username is at the bottom of the new page.

Note: for mailbox payments, use your account username instead.
