We are currently investigating transfer issues for our ADSL users.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

The problem has been confirmed and appears to be isolated to the gateway PTE-AG2.

Network engineers have been called and are investigating the problem.

Service status has been posted and a message recorded on the phones.

As part of the work to resolve the problem we need to reboot each of the line cards on PTE-AG2 in sequence. This will cause customers to be disconnected from gateway however they should be able to reconnect straight away.

If customers reconnect to PTE-AG2 it is possible they will see multiple disconnections.

As customers are conecting to the other gateways and off PTE-AG2 some customers may see lower than normal speeds on the other gateways.

Service status has been updated.

The gateway cards have now been reloaded and we are seeing no problems following this.

The problem should now be resolved, although will be kept open for monitoring overnight.

Anyone experiencing problems on PTE-AG2 should contact the support centre.

After a period of monitoring we are happy that the data transfer issues have been resolved. I am downgrading this problem for signoff.
