It is not possible to connect to the Metronet news servers. Attempts to do so are returning a 502 server response suggesting that the server cannot be accessed from the customers' IP addresses.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

Problem has been passed to a network engineer for investigation.

We are liasing with our third party usenet provider to investigate this issue further.

We have made contact with our supplier and are currently awaiting their response.

The problem has now been resolved and customers should be able to access the service as normal. Problem is now being downgraded for signoff.
