Problem: [45628] [LIVE MONITORING] XML eCo submission on Long lines Status: Closed
Problem description Added on: 14/08/2007 @ 11:49

We have noticed that some of the XML orders for customers with long lines are being provisioned on IPStream Home 1000,

These customer receive the following message with the ADSL checker:

Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial test on your line indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a line rate up to 512Kbps. However, due to the length of your line, an engineer visit may be required, who will, where possible, supply the broadband service.

Our test also indicates that your line should be able to support a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 1Mbps or greater.

These customers can all receive IPStream MAX but the orders are going through on IPStream Home 1000 and are being cancelled by BT with the error 'Inadequate line quality to support DSL'.

When these orders are submitted on MAX they do complete.
