It appears that the mx.core platform is intermittently failing to relay messages to Metronet mailboxes. If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

A script on some of the mail delivery servers doesn't include the metronet domain so is failing to process messages correctly. A fix has been implemented and will be rolled to the live platform shortly.

We are still in the process of testing the fix.

The fix has been successful and Metronet email is no longer failing. We are keeping this problem open to continue to investigate the cause.
