We have contacted Postini who have confirmed that their systems have fallen over.

They have invoked their DR and failed over to the secondary system and mail should begin to come through shortly.

We are restarting Exim across each of the mail exchangers in preparation of this.

Email is no longer being refused and the load on our load balancers is decreasing. Problem will remain opening for monitoring.

Comment updated on: 24/07/2008 @ 16:07

We are now handling mail quicker than it is being received so it appears that any backlog has now cleared.

All mail throughput is fine now, downgrading problem whilst we monitor for the next hour.
