Approximately half of all one shot checks run within the BT Wholesale website are timing out with a 'fail' message. This was originally reported a couple of days ago, and has been re-opened by BT's problem investigation team.
The one shot check is a line test that is run on all broadband lines in order to gather information before raising a fault.
If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

As stated in the description, this problem has been reported to BT and is being worked on, we will provide any further updates as they come in.
This is slowing down agents working on fault diagnosis, but does not affect reporting of faults to Plusnet / Metronet.
